Coaching for Impact Coaching & Learning Experience

Cristel Orrand
ICF ACC Coach

Cristel Orrand spent 25 years leading complex transformation and emerging technology programs for private and federal sector organizations, including the White House Deputies. By external measures, she was succeeding — trusted with high-stakes initiatives and delivering results in high-pressure systems. But there was a pattern of walls she - and many others - were running into time after time. Through her work with transitioning veterans, Cristel found her way to American University to explore these patterns further, and then began integrating coaching for organizational performance into her leadership. She found what was often assumed to be performance issues, change fatigue, uncertainty or any of the other commonly assumed culprits, more often was rooted in what is and isn’t heard in an organization- in other words, communication, of the deepest kinds. Who gets to speak, think, process, and lead, and can they do it in a way that aligns to their values and strengths? She now works with leaders and teams navigating transformation and transitions of all kinds, where technical and tactical solutions alone aren’t enough. Cristel blends a strategic business and innovator lens with a human-centered approach to possibility.

Elizabeth Lihachevskaya,
ICF PCC Coach

Over the course of her career, Elizabeth has sat in hundreds of rooms with leaders. She has interviewed them, observed them, coached them — accumulating thousands of hours of proximity to what leadership actually looks like from the inside. Across all of it, one pattern refused to leave her alone. It wasn’t the underqualified leaders who struggled to make their voice matter. It was the brilliant ones. The most prepared person in the room, editing herself before she spoke. The clearest thinker at the table, watching her idea get credited to someone else. The woman whose instinct was exactly right — who knew it, felt it in her body — and who still found herself unable to translate that knowing into words that landed the way they deserved to. Hundreds of interviews. Hundreds of meetings. Hundreds of coaching conversations. The same pattern, showing up in different organisations, different industries, different roles. The smartest and most talented women — losing themselves in the gap between what they knew and what they were able to say. That recognition is what brought her here. Elizabeth holds ICF PCC leadership, executive and team coaching and coached exceptional leaders, executive teams and leadership groups. What she brings to this programme is not theory — it is the evidence of hundreds of moments where something real was at stake, a woman knew exactly what needed to be said, and the conditions were simply not there to let her say it. This programme is her answer to that.

Communicating for Impact

From many different experiences and lenses, we kept arriving at the same conviction: that what most communication and coaching programs for women get wrong is the sequence.

They begin with technique. We begin with safety.

Because the techniques — framing, pacing,

the art of making a room listen - become more available when a woman is no longer spending her energy on self-management.

When she is not wondering whether she is too much or not enough, when she is in a room where her voice is not a variable to be managed, but an asset to be heard.

We built this program as that room: a space where female leaders can experiment with their voice without consequence, uncover how they show up and what's holding them back.

Copy of Green Neutral Minimalist Nature

Cohort members leave with a communication practice that is genuinely theirs — not a borrowed version of how someone else leads.
